What if there were a cage fighting tournament with actors who are supposedly martial artists? who would win?

  • Tournament style like the old ufc used to be. Included in this tournament would be jean claude van damme, jackie chan, steven seagal(in his prime of course), bruce lee, chuck norris, jet li, john rambo and bolo yeung.

    matchups for the first round
    1. Jet Li vs. Jackie Chan
    2. Bolo Yeung vs. Steven Seagal
    3. Chuck Norris vs. Jean Claude Van Damme
    4. Bruce Lee vs. John Rambo

Results for these fights and the winner of the whole tournament aprreciated.

  • Chuck Norris all the way!

  • If you're saying Bruce lee in his prime then he would win in a round against every one of these, he had a lot of street fighting experience, and was probably the greatest known martial artist to date.

    Matchups
    1. Hard call, I think Jackie Chan would win because he has done martial arts since his childhood and has more experience than Jet Li (though Jet Li does have an impressive tournament record)
2.Steven Seagal, aikido was built to take down lugs like Bolo.
3.Hard call, but I'd say Chuck Norris, because he has more experience (to my knowledge) in tournament fighting.
    4. Bruce Lee, hands down, no explanation necessary.

    Tournament Champion: Bruce Lee

  • steven seagal is fat, plus Gene Lebell choked him unconcious a few years ago.

and i would take Joe rogan over all of them by submission.

  • 1. Jet Li
    2.Steve
    3.Chuck Norris
    4.Bruce Lee

    1vs.2Jet Li

    3vs.4Bruce Lee

Battle of the lee or li's!!!!!
    pow
    bash
    bam
    punch

    Bruce wins!!

  • The only sure winner would be the promoter. He would make a fortune. After that, Chuck Norris ALWAYS wins. Van Damme is a dancer turned actor.

  • some of ytour choices actually are martial artists.
match 1: jet li. both jackie and jet were trained as stunt men initially, but jackie has a little more background in martial arts. jackie may be able to jump around more, but since there is no furniture for him to use as weapons, jet li will cut the ring in half and will eventually tag jackie with a right cross.
match 2: steven seagal. steven is an acknowledged aikido expert and teacher. bolo yeung, as big as he is, will succumb to an arm bar and tap out.
match 3: chuck norris. chuck norris is immortal! besides, he holds black belts in both karate, taekwondo, and tang soo do. he is also the founder of chun kook do. side note: check out the final scene of "enter the dragon" between him and bruce lee. best fight scene ever.
match 4: bruce lee. no contest. you're putting up a grand master against someone with a marginal knowledge of boxing. besides you cant bring exploding arrows into the octogon.
it will eventually come down to chuck norris and bruce lee (again). bruce will eventually win via tko due to his famous one-inch punch.

  • ok stupid question look at the records bruce lee was a martial artist long befroe eh started acting Chuck norris 3 time world karate champion in the 70's also tae kwon do black belt he is a true martial artist steven segal is also a martial artsit jackie chan is not a martial artist he is a former acrobat and van dam is a ballet dancer and has no martial arts trianing

  • It would come down to Bruce Lee and Bolo Yeung for a Bruce Lee lightning fast victory.

Tony Jaa would then make a challange to Bruce Lee and they would engage in an epic battle. Who wins that one?

  • Both Jet Li and Jackie Chan have extensively trained in martial arts since they were children.

Bolo Yeung has been in and won full contact fights. The man is a hard ****, he swam from China to Hong Kong to escape comunisim. He is still a practicing martial artist today in his 60s.

Steven Seagal, is also extensively trained in martial arts.

Chuck Norris was a kick boxing champion trained by Bruce Lee.

Jean Claude Van Damme is supposedly a black belt in shotokan or whatever and from all report a super good ballet dancer lol.

Bruce Lee was a great martial artist, and was involved in many full contact fights in Hong Kong, this is what resulted in him eventually leaving Hong Kong due to his fighting with local triad gangs.

John Rambo is a character played by Sylvester Stalone, I don't actually have any idea as to Stallone's credibility as a fighter but he was born and to the best of my knowledge raised in Hell's Kitchen Manhattan then home of organised crime so I imagine that he's seen at least a little of conflict.

And as for the any other "so called" martial artists that you might think of:

Gordon Liu of Kill Bill fame has practiced Hung Gar since childhood.

Sammo Hung was a member of the same Peking Opera group as Jakie Chan

Wesley Snipes is knowledgeable in many diciplines inlcuding Karate, Kung Fu and Capoeira

Tony Jaa is skilled in Muay Thai, Muay Chaiya, Tomoi, Aikido,Capoeira, Wushu, Krabi Krabong and Tae Kwon Do

And the list goes on in fact many A list hollywood starts study martial arts just like you and have more time and money to dedicate to it so why can't they also be talented? And most of the stars from Hong Kong became movie stars due to their kung fu skills. Their martial arts are jsut as real as yours.
