How can I receive a 1/2 credit elective now if I was suppose to graduate in 1989?

  • I need to find out how to get a 1/2 credit so I can receive my diploma


  • Try a community college... you may just want to find a 1-2 hour class that you're interested in that will transfer.

    It's possible that you'll have to get other classes in order to graduate now, as you have waited almost 20 years and the university may no longer be counting some credit hours for graduation while instituting others.

    Talk to people in Student Affairs to try to straighten this out. Good luck and best wishes!


  • I went through this.

    The only option I can think of would be trying a community college, or possibly a certified online school. But make sure the school you choose is certified to give credits, or you will waste your time and money.
